1. Who we are
Stamp is operated by Stamp Social Ltd (Company No. 17188757, trading as Stamp Foundation). Our registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. We are registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office under the Data Protection Act 2018. You can reach us at hello@stamp.foundation.
2. Eligibility (18+)
By using Stamp you confirm you are 18 or over. Stamp is not designed for under-18s and does not knowingly permit accounts from under-18s. We may ask you to confirm your age at signup and at sign-in. The information you provide must be accurate.
3. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for everything that happens on your account. Don't share it. Notify us at security@stamp.foundation if you think your account has been accessed without permission.
4. One post per day (with a birthday exception)
Each member may publish one post per day. This is intentional, quality over quantity, always. On your own birthday (the date you set on your profile) you may publish a second post; that second post is shown with a gold border in your circle's feed so it stands out as a birthday post. Beyond this, additional posts may be enabled in limited future features.
5. Your content
Your posts, photos and words belong to you. By posting, you grant Stamp a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence (sublicensable to our processors solely for the same purpose) to host, store, display and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating the service (e.g. showing your post to your circle). That licence ends when you delete the content.
6. Acceptable use
No hate speech, harassment, threats, doxxing (publishing private contact details without consent), illegal content, CSAM, non-consensual intimate imagery, incitement to violence, terrorism content, spam, scams, fraud, sale of regulated goods, dishonest impersonation, or coordinated inauthentic behaviour. No intellectual-property infringement: do not post copyrighted work, trade marks or third-party brand assets you do not have permission to use. Violations may result in immediate, permanent termination without refund. Reports go to safety@stamp.foundation (or long-press any post or message in-app). Appeals go to appeals@stamp.foundation. IP and copyright notices follow the separate procedure at stamp.foundation/copyright. Full policy and timelines: stamp.foundation/moderation.
7. No bots or automation
Accounts must be operated by real humans. Automated posting, scraping, reverse engineering or interference with the service is prohibited.
8. No commercial scraping
You may not scrape, harvest, or use others' content for commercial purposes without their explicit written consent.
9. Subscriptions & billing
Membership is £3/month (or £30/year). Subscriptions are processed by Apple In-App Purchase on iOS and Google Play Billing on Android, who act as the merchant of record. Renewals, cancellations and refunds are governed by the relevant platform's terms; cancel from Settings and you keep access until the end of the current period. We don't issue refunds for partial periods except where the platform's policy or local law requires. Taxes may apply.
You can cancel at any time. On iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name at the top, tap Subscriptions, choose Stamp, then tap Cancel Subscription. On Android, open the Google Play app, tap your profile icon, tap Payments & subscriptions then Subscriptions, choose Stamp, then tap Cancel subscription. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your membership continues to the end of the period you have already paid for. This disclosure is provided alongside the price point in line with the UK Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 transparency duties on subscription contracts.
Read-only seat after lapse. When a subscription period ends without renewal (whether because you cancelled, your trial ended without converting, or a payment failed), your account moves to a read-only seat. You retain access to your circle: you can read posts, events and inbound messages in full. You cannot post, reply, react, RSVP or send messages until you resume a paid subscription. There is no separate "pause" mechanic; cancelling and resuming later is the pause. Your data, your circle and your settings are preserved while you are a read-only seat. Resuming is available from any soft-blocked action and from Settings.
9b. The one-third charity commitment
Stamp Social Ltd commits that, after all operating costs are covered (including salaries, infrastructure, professional fees and the repayment of any director's-loan balance owed to the founder for personal money put into the company), a third of the remaining net post-tax profit is donated to three UK-registered charities, split equally so each receives 11% of that profit, paid once a year at the Company's financial year-end. The remaining two thirds is reinvested in Stamp (the team building it, growth, and reserves). Each charity payment is an outright unconditional donation made of the Company's own volition and without consideration from the charity, treated as a Qualifying Charitable Donation under Part 6 of the Corporation Tax Act 2010 (sections 189 to 202). Stamp Social Ltd selects the three charities directly, with publicly stated rationale published alongside each name before launch. The selection may change over time, and any change is published before it takes effect. The Company is currently 100% owned by the founder; as team members are hired in future, any who are granted equity share in the reinvested portion pro-rata. These commitments are mirrored in the public Pledge for transparency; the commitment is set out in full in this clause. Receiving charities are selected by Stamp Social Ltd, not partners, and are under no obligation to Stamp in return. Members are not parties to the donations and cannot direct or enforce them. The Company's annual accounts, filed publicly at Companies House, which record each year's charity donations, are the accountability surface for members; members' enforceable rights remain their consumer-protection and data-protection rights at law.
10. Changes to the service
Stamp is early-stage. We may add, change or remove features. We'll give reasonable notice for anything that materially reduces what you pay for.
11. Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms. On termination your content is deleted and we retain nothing (see Privacy).
12. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Stamp is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss. Our maximum liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the previous 12 months. Nothing in this clause limits or excludes our liability for (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence, (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or (c) any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts, unless local consumer law requires otherwise.
14. Changes to these terms
If we make material changes we'll notify you in-app at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

16. Company details
Stamp Social Ltd, Company No. 17188757, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ. Registered with the ICO (ZC142084) under the Data Protection Act 2018.
17. Copyright and IP takedown
If you believe content on Stamp infringes your copyright or other intellectual property, email copyright@stamp.foundation with (a) what you own, (b) a link to the post, (c) your contact details, and (d) a statement of truth: "I believe the facts stated in this notice are true, and I am the rights-holder or authorised to act on their behalf." Knowingly making a false statement of truth can be a contempt of court under CPR Part 22. We act under the UK Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 and will remove or restrict access to infringing content promptly. We may forward the notice to the poster, who may file a counter-notice. Full procedure: stamp.foundation/copyright. Repeat infringers have their accounts terminated.
18. Suspension and termination grounds
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, if your activity puts other members or the service at risk, if we are required to by law or a regulator, or if your payment method fails for an extended period. Where the breach is not severe we will normally warn you first. Where it is severe (illegal content, threats, CSAM, fraud) we act immediately. On termination we delete your live data as set out in our Privacy Policy.
19. Indemnity
You agree to cover Stamp Social Ltd for reasonable losses, costs and legal fees that arise directly from (a) content you post that breaks the law or infringes someone's rights, or (b) your serious breach of these terms. This indemnity does not apply to ordinary use of the service, to anything caused by us, or to anything a UK consumer cannot lawfully be asked to indemnify.
20. Your statutory rights
Nothing in these terms removes or limits your rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other consumer protection law. If a court decides any clause is unenforceable, the rest of the terms still apply. These terms (together with our Privacy Policy) are the whole agreement between you and Stamp Social Ltd about the service.
